Night Shooting highlights Leyton Bakken’s commitment to improvement even when conditions were not ideal. Instead of letting darkness stop his work, Leyton used part of his 2024 Challenge award money to buy LED rim lights and turned his hoop into a target he could keep shooting at late into the evening. Sometimes his parents rebounded for him, and other times they simply sat nearby and supported him while he kept putting in the work.

This is a strong example of effort, creativity, family support, and commitment. Leyton did not wait for perfect conditions. He found a way to keep improving.
